Job summary The Field Sales Engineer II (FSE II) is a senior level position who commands significant security expertise and is primarily responsible for taking ownership and proactively managing the technical relationship with our pre-sale customers and channel sales partners in order to drive revenue and grow their assigned territories.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
The Field Sales Engineer II supports all phases of the ESET Sales lifecycle, including presenting at seminars, providing product demos, product evaluation support, and responding to RFPs / RFIs but is also empowered to take a larger leadership role in the support and management of their territory.
- The FSEII, with a clear sales awareness, builds successful relationships with ESET Sales Teams, ESET Channel Sales Partners, and key customers in support of long-term sales objectives.
- Work with ESET Sales Teams to develop and implement account penetration strategies and then deliver product and services sales plans.
- Assist territory partners in understanding significant business opportunities and technical requirements then map identified requirements to workable ESET solution architectures.Influence and recommend appropriate ESET solutions.
- Identify and define assigned territory’s competitive landscape and seek to overcome obstacles.
- Participate in QBR and customer reviews with assigned territory sales teams.
- Provide coaching to Channel Sales Partners to develop and increase their selling effectiveness with ESET solutions.
- Provide technical product training and guidance to the ESET Sales Teams, ESET Channel Sales Partners, and ESET customers.
- Work with assigned Account Managers to engage and leverage corporate resources, capabilities, and budgets as appropriate.
- Guide prospects and partners through product trials and proof of concepts, demonstrate ESET’s ability to meet and exceed customer requirements, and build positive relationships that go beyond the initial transaction.
- Train and mentor Sales and Sales Engineering peers.
- Maintain an up-to-date, functional, and effective demo environment for all ESET and ESET Partner solutions, including sufficient back up for disaster recovery purposes.
- Creation and delivery of custom technical presentations and Sales demo kits for espousing the ESET product line.
- Stay current with ESET product knowledge, industry security knowledge, and knowledge of competitive solutions to effectively address and dispel prospect objections to ESET solutions.
- Serve as an evangelizing SME advocating the value of the ESET product line at trade shows, seminars, and other industry and partner events.
- Support ESET Professional Services processes by identifying, scoping, and delivering ESET solutions to ensure customer success.
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Development serving as the technical bridge between ESET departments, ESET and its partners, prospects, and customers.
- Provide feedback to Product Development regarding product changes as it relates to customer and market requirements to improve our business and our customers’ success.
- Keep an accurate Outlook calendar for scheduling and maintain up-to-date notes in CRM for all sales related activities.
- Travel within assigned territories and US.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or Engineering, or relevant on the job experience.
EXPERIENCE :
