Vert Environmental is seeking a motivated, self-starting B2B Sales Representative to grow our footprint in an assigned territory. If you're competitive, results-oriented, and ready to take your sales career to the next level, this role offers a strong track for growth.

You’ll take the lead on generating new business—prospecting leads, nurturing client relationships, and converting opportunities into lasting partnerships. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates with confidence, and takes pride in exceeding goals.

Compensation :

75,000 - $120,000 base + commissions

Responsibilities :

  • Help company stay on top of all developments related to new business opportunities, sales activities, and customer needs through our CRM
  • Speak to potential customers to introduce our services or new products
  • Develop and execute a strategy to generate new customers in your sales territory
  • Appear at in-person or online trainings, meetings, trade shows, and sales events
  • Commit to staying updated on all services and products, competition, and market conditions to ensure customer needs are met
  • Exceed monthly and quarterly revenue expectations and meet sales and lead-generating activities goals to ensure future business
  • Secure new deals and target buyers quickly, give them the information they need to envision our brand, and close deals efficiently
  • Present a win-win solution for the prospect, negotiate sales contract specifics, and close deals
  • Initiate outgoing cold calling and emailing to potential customers, schedule in-person sales appointments, and follow up on client requests for information
  • Position us as the clear and obvious choice in our market through competitive analysis and product trends
  • Grow and maintain customer relationships
  • Attend expos and events (golf events, Padres games, happy hours)
  • Company sales meetings
  • Follow all the company's outside sales representative duties
  • Set appointments
  • Sales talk and objection handler mastery

  • Qualifications :

  • Applicants should have 3-5 years of sales experience for this role
  • A bachelor’s degree or high school diploma is preferred
  • Experience using a CRM is preferred
  • Must have excellent communication, negotiation, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • You must have driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • 2 years of outside sales experience or related marketing experience
  • Team-focused, organized, and self-starter with an orientation toward service, detail, problem-solving, and deadlines
  • Proven track record in sales
  • Great communication
  • A high school diploma is required, and some industry or product knowledge is preferred
  • Exceptional negotiating, interpersonal, presentation, persuasion, and communication skills
  • 21 years of age or older
