Tempur-Pedic Team Lead's primary responsibility is to provide excellence in customer service while selling and marketing Tempur-Pedic products. In addition, this individual will serve as a member of management when the Store Manager is not available. This could include opening and / or closing the store as well as covering the management duties.

Hourly Rate : $17.00 PLUS Monthly Incentive That Is Based On Sales Metrics

What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities) :

Engage customers to quickly determine their needs and the best possible way to meet those needs.

Provide exceptional customer service at every stage of the customers' retail experience.

Create a welcoming and consultative environment that builds trust and helps the customers feel comfortable at every stage of their retail experience.

Commit to building long-term relationships with all customers.

Participate in trainings to develop interpersonal skills and selling capabilities.

Learn how to make effective recommendations and up-sell Tempur Sealy products.

Support the Store Manager in maintaining the highest standards of presentation and product care.

Ensure that safety and security rules and procedures are followed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need (Qualifications) :

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least 1 year of retail sales experience is preferred.

Strong sales skills in a consultative environment

Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, direct, and train others in a store setting

Skilled at current best practice retail methods, procedures, and standards

Demonstrated team player able to both lead and follow

Flexibility in work schedule reflecting the needs and patterns of store hours

Fluency with current retail software / computer systems

Must be able to stand for long periods of time and occasionally lifting items with or without assistance.
