THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Sales Representative / Market Development professional who thrives on building relationships and closing deals. In this role, you’ll connect with brokers, agencies, partners, and clients, guiding them through our solutions and converting them into customers. You’ll also attend industry events, workshops, and conferences, representing Virtue Health and advancing new business opportunities.

Success in this role requires exceptional sales acumen, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Conduct a minimum of 2 hours of daily prospecting (30-60 outbound calls, emails, or voicemails) to generate new quoting opportunities
  • Deliver engaging sales demos for brokers, agencies, partners, and employers
  • Research and prepare for meetings to ensure personalized, high-impact conversations
  • Lead RFQ-qualifying case review calls and manage the sales pipeline effectively
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Attend and present at industry workshops, conferences, and events to expand Virtue Health’s footprint
  • Assess prospect needs, communicate Virtue Health’s value proposition, and differentiate our solutions from competitors
  • Work closely with clients to guide them through growth strategies and renewal processes
  • Maintain detailed documentation of leads, calls, and client interactions in our CRM
  • Provide feedback to marketing and sales teams to optimize lead generation strategies
  • Assist in closing event ticket sales for Virtue Health-hosted workshops and conferences

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven sales performance with a demonstrated track record as a top-performing sales professional
  • Deep industry knowledge and a strong understanding of self-funded health insurance solutions and broker dynamics
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to assess client challenges and craft compelling solutions
  • Pipeline management experience with the ability to convert leads through CRM platforms
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to connect with professionals at all levels
  • Drive and resilience in a fast-paced environment with consistent follow-up and creative outreach strategies
  • REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience in health insurance sales or a related field
  • Strong background in B2B sales, relationship management, and consultative selling
  • Ability to travel 40% or more for client meetings, events, and conferences
  • Experience using CRM platforms to manage sales pipelines
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
