Description

Position Title : CRM Operations Analyst, CRM Operations Position Classification : Regular, Exempt, Full-Time, 40 hours / week Reports to : Senior Director, CRM Strategy and Operations Location : Employees in this role can work from our Boston, MA office, remotely within the . or a hybrid of these two options but must be able to work east coast hours (9am – 5pm ET). Application Instructions :  a Cover Letter and Resume / CV are required in addition to the application. Responsibilities :

Database Management (50%)

Ensure accuracy of CRM data through a range of activities including but not limited to :

  • Design and execute daily data imports, bulk updates and exports.
  • Design and run a suite of data quality checks; clean up data as necessary.
  • Identify and merge duplicate records.
  • Complete data cleanup projects as assigned.
  • Monitor Fundraise Up integration and resolve sync errors.
  • Monitor Salesforce’s data health reports and resolve issues; run National Change of Address (NCOA) updates; standardize contact names and address records.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to define data and execute imports / exports to support data screenings and data appends.

User Support, Training and Documentation (30%)

  • Serve as the staff expert on Salesforce; onboard new Salesforce users, providing initial and ongoing training to all users.
  • Create and maintain end user documentation and internal standard operating procedures.
  • Provide friendly, responsive, and efficient support for end users using Zendesk to triage all support requests.
  • Run weekly Office Hours for end users to support their effective use of Salesforce.
  • Gift Administration Support (15%)

  • Design and maintain import solutions for the Gift Administration team; troubleshoot and resolve import errors.
  • Design macros to facilitate gift data imports.
  • Design gift data quality control reports to ensure consistency and accuracy of gift data.
  • Acknowledgments, tax receipting and compliance reports (5%)

  • Generate the data files needed for the annual cumulative tax receipts mailing in collaboration with project lead.
  • Generate financial compliance reports for Finance and Legal teams as needed.
  • Support the production of weekly acknowledgments by ensuring files are accurate and updating gift acknowledgment statuses. Coordinate with vendor as needed.
  • Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of nonprofit CRM experience as a power user or administrator. Experience with Salesforce, NPSP and Data Loader strongly preferred. Experience with Zendesk, SOQL, Apsona, Fundraise Up as well as Salesforce Admin certifications a plus.
  • Proficiency with creating and editing Excel macros.
  • Experience with high-volume data management and philanthropic operational processes including gift processing, gift acknowledgments / tax receipting and NCOA updates.
  • Able to work Summer Break and Winter Break periods each year.

Pay and Benefits The expected starting salary range for new hires in this position is between $60,000-70,000 / year and may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market for the position, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The position belongs to a class of roles that have a salary range between $55,000 and $75,000 / year. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan with automatic employer contribution, as well as participate in organization-sponsored medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability insurance, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents.
