Job Description :
Unique, fun, and exciting product sales opportunity for a dynamic, friendly, and engaging salesperson. The Great Estate Roadshow, established in 2009, is a premier buyer of estate jewelry, precious metals, gold and silver coins, antiques, and collectibles. If you’ve ever seen “Antique’s Roadshow”, this is similar to what we do. We set up boutique “buying events” at various hotel locations throughout the region, where folks come to sell us their estate items. Unlike a true “sales” role, here you’re not actually “selling” anything (we’re actually “buying”) which means people are thrilled to be there and wait in line to meet with you. You’ll be trained to be an expert buyer of a wide variety of estate items. No specific industry experience is necessary, providing you have a great personality and a teachable spirit.
Events are 4 days per week, normally Wednesday - Saturday, but can vary. (perfect for those who like having 3 days off per week). Most events are within the Central Florida area, so this role is ideal for someone who enjoys some light travel, including potential overnight stays when needed.
Compensation :
Compensation is based on performance. Starting compensation is $60k per year (4 days per week). A review will be provided in 90 days, 180 days, and frequent intervals thereafter, with escalating raises opportunities for 100k+ within the first year. Nearly half of our staff have already received raises to the $100k+ level.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain quick relationships with customers.
- Present yourself in a professional manner.
- Negotiate deals and pricing on the items that the company purchases.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and performance goals.
- Provide exceptional customer service and follow up on client needs.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
