Position : IT Business Analyst

Duration : 6 month contract

Location : 100% Remote in the US

Hours : Monday-Friday 40 hrs / wk, EST hours

Pay Rate Range : W2 $40-50 / hr

Requirements :

5+ years as a Business Analyst supporting software related initiatives

Enterprise-wide software / application implementation experience (as a BA)

Requirements gathering, user story creation and documentation experience

Experience with task tracking and reporting using Azure DevOps (or Jira)

Experience in waterfall and agile environments, working with IT application development teams

Experience collaborating with 3rd party vendors

Experience in a hybrid agile / waterfall software development environment

Tools experience : Azure DevOps (or similar) and MS Visio (or similar)

Analytical mindset, excellent verbal and written communication skills

GIS and / or state government experience preferred

Summary :

Project : enterprise-wide, multi-year GIS (geospatial) upgrade and enhancements

Partner with GIS Project Manager, the IT GIS team and business stakeholders

Collaborate on multi-faceted teams including existing Business Analysts and Testing Professionals as well as third party vendors.

Main responsibilities will include requirements documentation, user story development, story tracking, and reporting using Azure DevOps.
