Temp to Hire Position
Needed Availability : Mon-Fri 6 pm - 2 : 30 am with occasional OT and Saturday Shifts (not guaranteed)
Position Summary : Washing, cleaning, sanitizing production equipment; such as Filling machines, Totes, Drums, Pails, Pumps.
This position will provide support to the Production Department to ensure that all equipment has been cleaned and sanitized by following the sanitation procedures (SSOP's). Completing the required documentation to support these cleaning procedures is also critical when performing these daily duties, as identified on our Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP's) in compliance with 21 CFR PART 110.37 and 110.40.
JOB DUTIES :
- Adhere to company policy and procedures such as; Safety, cGMP's, PPE's, and GDP's.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Mandatory comply to all company established chemical, safety and cleaning policies and procedures.
- Maintain a professional, positive and respectful attitude to all team members, clients, vendors and customers.
- Execute master sanitation schedule as written : Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Semi-Annual and Annual.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary facility, interior and exterior.
- Use of industrial cleaning chemicals and understand chemical safety and chemical handling procedures.
- Sanitize and clean machines and machine parts using chemicals, high pressure hoses, hot water, spraying and scrubbing.
- Follow a specific cleaning and sanitizing process (Facility SSOP's).
- Reassemble machines and parts as necessary.
- Trash and recycling removal.
- Sanitize facility floors, drains, walls, equipment, etc...
- Perform record keeping and data tracking; responsible for completing the facility Master Sanitation Schedule.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Continuously improve the sanitation process.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE :
Education : High school diploma or GED required; or up to one-year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience : Food / Liquid drinks, OTC Pharmaceuticals manufacturing sanitation experience preferred.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
Forklift licensing and / or certification preferred.
