OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the Project Systems workstream for SAP migrations to S / 4Hana. The SAP Project Systems Lead will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end migrations of the Project Systems module from SAP ECC to S / 4Hana. This role requires deep expertise in SAP PS, strong project management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex migration processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SAP implementations and migrations, particularly in the Project Maintenance area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Leadership :
Lead the SAP PS module migration from ECC to S / 4 HANA, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure business needs are met.
Technical Expertise :
Provide deep functional expertise in SAP Project Systems, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules.
Ensure data integrity and successful data migration for the PS module.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the PS module during the migration process.
Collaboration :
Work closely with functional and technical teams, including SAP consultants, business analysts, and IT staff.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions to ensure successful adoption of S / 4Hana by end- users.
Liaise with external vendors and consultants as necessary to support the migration project.
Quality Assurance :
Conduct system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for the PS module.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for SAP migrations.
Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to senior management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
10+ full lifecycle SAP implementations (Experience with migrations from ECC to S4Han plus).
5+ years at a Big 4 consulting company preferred.
Extensive experience (10+ years) in SAP Project Systems implementation and migration projects.
Proven expertise in the Plant Maintenance module functionalities, including configuration and customization.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Relevant SAP certifications are highly desirable.
