Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed work control plans to ensure safe and efficient execution of maintenance and operational activities.
  • Coordinate scheduling of resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish work priorities and ensure alignment with business objectives and safety requirements.
  • Monitor progress of assigned work packages and adjust plans as necessary to address any deviations or challenges.
  • Implement and enforce compliance with regulatory standards, company policies, and safety protocols throughout work planning processes.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, permits, and risk assessments to support planned activities.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance work control procedures and increase operational efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates, resolve issues, and facilitate smooth coordination of tasks.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Work Control Planner or similar role in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of work control procedures, scheduling techniques, and resource management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in using planning software, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications or training in work planning, project management, or related fields are preferred.
