Are you passionate about sparking curiosity and inspiring young minds? Then we want to hear from you!

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Mad Science Instructor to lead students through an exciting and engaging after-school science program. As a part time Mad Science Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering inquiry-based discovery programs that involve instructor demonstrations, hands-on activities, and amazing take-home projects. A science degree is not required, but a passion for helping students understand their world and how it works is required.

Responsibilities :

  • Deliver engaging and interactive science programs that are appropriate for students of different ages and skill levels.
  • Lead classroom instruction using a variety of teaching methods, including instructor-led demonstrations, hands-on activities, and group discussions.
  • Ensure the safety of all students and provide a positive and supportive learning environment.

    • Qualifications :

  • A strong passion for science and a desire to inspire students to explore and discover the world around them.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with children and an understanding of child development.
  • Ability to manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Have a reliable car and ability to transport program materials to / from the program.
  • At least 19 years of age.
  • Availability to work after-school hours (3-6 pm) at least 3 weekdays per week.
