Title : Data Scientist

Location : Atlanta, GA (must be onsite 3-days / week)

Hire Type : Direct Hire

Compensation : $110,000 - $115,000 Base Salary + Benefits

Overview :

As a skilled Data Scientist, you should work with the product team, customers and engineering team to identify user cases pain points, issues, valuable insights basis and provide solutions using machine learning, AI models. You will also be responsible for the building. deploying and training various data science models for business insights to enhance Products decisions and Business operations.

Responsibilities

Ensure data gathering from various sources e.g. Databases, API's, sensors etc.
Exploratory data analysis skills to understand data patterns, complexities, relationships and characteristics
Building and training machine learning models for predication, classification and recommendations
Apply statistical knowledge to test hypothesis and make data driven decisions
Knowledge of SQL which includes writing complex SQLs to analyze or extract data in an efficient way.
Extract data to generate ad hoc reports for analysis.
Enforce data governance policies and best practices.
Working closely with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, engineers, and product managers to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience as data scientist with Python and machine learning model development skills

6+ years in software industry around data management

Experience in various machine learning algorithms such as linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, random forests, and neural networks to solve business problems

Utilize statistical techniques and data visualization tools to show data insights effectively to stakeholders.

Strong proficiency with SQL and working on large volume of data.

Capable of configuring popular database engines, tools, and technologies in data analysis

Programming skills in languages such as Java, or Scala will be a plus.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
