About project

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist to join our team. This role is critical in developing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms that enhance our AI-driven medical imaging platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineering, product management, and clinical experts, to develop innovative solutions that transform 2D X-ray images into 3D, ultimately impacting patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis :
  • Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and patterns.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to inform model development and refinement.
  • Collaborate with clinical experts to understand and incorporate domain-specific knowledge into models.
  • Model Development and Optimization :
  • Design and develop machine learning models with the software engineering team.
  • Ensure models are scalable, robust, and performant in real-world clinical settings.
  • Monitor and evaluate model performance, making improvements as necessary.
  • Stay current with the latest research and advancements in machine learning and medical imaging.
  • Collaboration and Communication :
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Communicate technical progress and challenges to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and presentations.
  • Quality and Compliance :
  • Implement best practices for data management, model development, and deployment.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, FDA).
  • Maintain a strong focus on quality assurance and user experience.

Requirements

  • Graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. Ph. D. preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on machine learning and medical imaging.
  • Proven track record of developing and deploying machine learning models in production.
  • Strong knowledge of AI and machine learning technologies and their application in image processing.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Python, C and C++.
  • Proficiency with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and standards in healthcare is a plus.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
