Harkins Pain and Sleep Management Group is currently seeking to hire a full-time dental assistant / medical scribe to join our practice for long-term employment. The assistant / scribe will work one-on-one with an orofacial pain specialist in the clinic and will accompany the provider during patient encounters to document the details of each visit. The assistant / scribe will be expected transcribe information quickly and accurately into the patient record for the purpose of streamlining patient care.
Qualifications include :
- Previous experience in dental assisting / medical transcription or other related fields.
- Familiarity with dental / medical terminology.
- Excellent writing, typing and data entry skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing.
- The ability to demonstrate a high level of professionalism with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- A commitment to working 40 hours per week, some overtime may be required.
