An employer in the insurance industry is looking for a Senior Scrum Master / Agile Coach to join the fully-remote team. This role is pivotal in driving enterprise-wide agile adoption while providing hands-on team-level coaching. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agile methodologies and be adept at working with both teams and leadership to foster cohesion and strategic alignment. This person will provide day-to-day support to agile practitioners and teams, drive enterprise adoption of agile practices, coach and mentor teams to enhance their agile capabilities and work closely with leadership to align agile practices with organizational goals. They will act as a Scrum Master for a team of 6-8 members and will facilitate daily scrums, planning sessions, and retrospectives. They will ensure the team adheres to agile principles while being flexible with frameworks like SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban. This person will serve as a bridge between different leadership areas to ensure cohesive strategy and execution, and will provide coaching and strategic advice to senior leaders with the goal of helping to build relationships and align vision and delivery across the organization. Success in this role would be enhancing alignment between agile teams and engineering teams; providing tools and strategies for teams to solve problems independently; promoting transparency and effective communication across all levels of the organization.

Required Skills & Experience
6+ years of experience as a Scrum Master and Agile Coach
Strong understanding of agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) and the ability to adapt them as needed
Proven track record of working with both teams and leadership to drive agile adoption
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to coach and mentor teams and leaders to achieve strategic goals
