Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Human Resource Generalist to join our team. In this role, you will be a key player in supporting the full range of HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll and HR compliance. The ideal candidate is people-oriented, detail-focused, and proactive in problem-solving, with a commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive work environment.

Responsibilities

Manage the recruitment process for retail, corporate, and warehouse roles, from job posting to onboarding

Conduct new hire orientations and oversee onboarding activities to ensure a seamless experience

Administer employee benefits and manage open enrollment, including employee communications and addressing questions

Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and HR-related questions from employees

Support employee relations initiatives, facilitating conflict resolution and providing guidance on performance management

Assist in the implementation of HRIS system (Paycom) updates, ensuring records are accurate and up to date

Coordinate employee engagement activities and support company events

Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies

Maintain personnel records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy

Support additional HR projects and initiatives as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a retail, corporate, or warehouse environment
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Experience with HRIS systems (experience with Paycom is a plus)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a high degree of empathy and confidentiality
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle sensitive situations and information with discretion
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
