We are seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to :
Effectively and efficiently decontaminate, clean, sterilize and reprocess patient equipment, surgical instruments, and medical supplies in support of all hospital areas.
Display a wide-range knowledge of ever-changing instrumentation, equipment and techniques.
Work in a fast-paced environment that requires detailed, technical skills.
Have a role in keeping our patients safe and know that you are contributing to our remarkable patient care.
Interact with cutting edge surgical instrumentation and reprocessing equipment.
Be a member of a cohesive team assisting and supporting each other.
Minimum Requirements :
o Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (permanent address must be included in traveler's profile including resume,
o High School Diploma or equivalent
o 2 years' experience in reprocessing
o Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 or 2 - Trauma center or similar size hospital.
o Successfully completed traveler assignment (13 weeks).
o Traveler must have Certification by CBSPD as a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician or IAHCSMM / HSPA as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician.
o Needs 2 completed references from recent work environment / assignments (supervisor or manager only for work performed in the last two years).

Parking : Permit required through UW Transportation.

Shifts :
40 hours per week. Monday-Friday, 3pm-11 : 30pm.
