  • Gather and analyze operational data from internal WMS systems and relevant SOWs such as volume trends, product dimensions, storage requirements, and handling characteristics.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, workflow maps, and current state operational profiles.
  • Conduct time studies, capacity assessments, and throughput analyses to support operational planning.
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and visual materials that clearly communicate findings, trends, and operational considerations.
  • Collaborate with solutions, operations leadership, and project management to ensure facility design inputs accurately reflect operational needs and future growth considerations, as well as ensuring data is provided in line with project development expectations.

  • Ability to work on-site within logistics and warehouse operations for observations and data collection.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Foundational knowledge of industrial engineering principles, including process analysis, systems thinking, and operational evaluation.
  • Introductory understanding of logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations through coursework or academic projects.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data organization, formulas (e.g., IF statements, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), pivot tables, and basic charting.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to synthesize operational data into clear, usable inputs for facility planning and decision-making.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems, tools, and operational processes and understand how they interact within a broader logistics environment.
  • High level of attention to detail, particularly when documenting operational assumptions, constraints, and dependencies.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical and operational information to cross-functional stakeholders.
