The Financial Services Restricted Program Accounting team is seeking a motivated individual to join us as an Accountant. This role is crucial in supporting the Company's Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable services for classified programs, requiring collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders. The position is based in either Redondo Beach, CA, or Falls Church, VA, with no remote work option available. Security Clearance Requirement : All candidates must possess an active Government Top Secret level clearance to support classified programs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Engage with internal customers daily.
• Plan and execute check runs for highly classified vendor payments, ensuring compliance with purchase order and invoice terms, as well as departmental policies and procedures.
• Prepare, review, and submit highly classified customer billings in accordance with contract terms and departmental policies.
• Reconcile outstanding payables and aged receivables.
• Monitor and report on cash flow for classified government contracts, including support for banking and treasury requirements.
• Prepare and post general journal entries.
• Support various internal and external audits.
• Participate in special projects as needed.

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
