Job description

Elite Sourcing LLC is looking for a Legal Secretary, for our client. You'll play a crucial role in supporting the legal team to deliver excellent service to our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity for growth and development within a reputable law firm. As a Legal Secretary, you'll be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that will keep you engaged and challenged.

In this role, you will assist attorneys with the preparation and drafting of legal documents, manage client communications, and maintain organized case files. Your excellent organizational skills and attention to detail will be vital as you help ensure that deadlines are met and that all necessary legal documentation is accurate and complete.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents and pleadings.
  • Maintain and organize electronic filing systems and case files.
  • Manage correspondence, including legal notices and court filings.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and court appearances.
  • Conduct research and compile case-related information.
  • Ensure compliance with legal protocols and deadlines.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess :

  • 7+ years of experience in the legal industry.
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and legal research databases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
