We have several temp to hire opportunities to help get your foot in the door, working in a primary care office associated with one of the largest healthcare systems in Rochester! Opportunities are available within family medicine, pediatric, OB / GYN, or internal medicine practices.
In this position, you will be trained as a front desk receptionist, to help make a difference in the lives of patients and their health. We are currently seeking diligent and organized candidates to contribute to the mission of delivering top-quality healthcare services
These are full time, or part time opportunities, working Monday to Friday between the hours of 7 : 30am to 6 : 00pm, depending on the location! Enjoy working daytime hours with no holidays!
Salary : $17 / hr - $22.10 / hr depending on experience plus a PHENOMENAL benefits package upon hire!
As a medical receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the primary care facility. You will be responsible for :
- Greeting patients in a courteous and professional manner
- Check patients in and out for their appointments, and verify demographic information
- Maintain electronic medical records accurately and confidentially
- Schedule patient appointments and manage schedules for medical providers
- Answer phones and assist with patient questions
- Collect copays and reconciliation of charges
- Any other duties as needed
