Typically, part of the solution development team, the solution architect is responsible for translating the requirements created by functional analysts into the architecture for that solution and describing it through the set of architecture and design artifacts. Those artifacts are then used by the rest of the development team to implement the solution. The process of defining architecture by the solution architect often involves selection of the most appropriate technology for the problem being solved. Strong understanding and working knowledge of software engineering, software development, solution architecture and implementation of medium to large scale systems across multiple platforms. They also manage cloud infrastructure and system administration. Key responsibilities will be automating infrastructure build in AWS using Teraform, establishing CI / CD pipelines, setting up monitoring, metering, observability for a new build platform. Strong cloud / AWS knowledge and ability to learn, adapt and deliver is critical. Level III Minimum 6 to 10 years experience designing or configuring systems and / or applications Level IV Minimum 10 years experience designing or configuring systems and / or applications.

Required Skills : Typical day in the role / task breakdown % : This role will be responsible for building out our AWS environments. It will interact with other internal teams to build out the infrastructure and ensure security and architecture guidelines are met. Knowledge of AWS to evaluate, recommend and implement will be required. Automation of infrastructure builds with Teraform as well as establishing the CI / CD pipelines are key activities.
