Be flexible and able to quickly adapt to the dynamic and evolving operating environment.

Job type : W2 + benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k, vacation, sick)
Location : Department of Education, Washington, DC location Lyndon Baines Johnson building (LBJ)
Duties :
- Administer applicants entrance documentation into e-QIP for new, upgraded, or periodic reinvestigations to include but not limited to fingerprints, legal notices, and credit checks.
- Review security questionnaires and supplemental documents for completeness and accuracy, using various security systems such as e-QIP, NP2 portal, and CVS / PIPS.
- Process and respond to DCSA (Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency) notices.
- Attend meetings as required with security staff to coordinate activities with function-specific personnel.
- Provide weekly reporting metrics as determined by case assignments.
- Maintain confidentiality of all work processes and products.
- Update internal spreadsheet, document all cases in Dept systems.
- Prepare corrective feedback to applicants for resolution.
