Job descriptionVacation after 1 year of employment Sick Days after 90 days of employment 6 paid holidays. Other standard benefits : 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, after 90 days of employment Oversee road service assigned carriers by tracking trip performance measures, route begin on time, performance, incidents, etc. Communicates job requirements and responsibilities to drivers. Conducts on-the-scene accident investigation; assists drivers in preparing accident reports, OSHA reports and safety violations documents Provide customer support by responding to questions and concerns regarding customer trips including no shows, cancellations and missed trips. Manage emergency situations for vehicle operators, act as liaison between the carrier and emergency services. Manage daily service by reviewing route performance and proactively responding to situations that impact customer service. Other duties as required. CDL License preferred. Must obtain a valid CDL (within 30 days of hire) as required to operate all vehicles at location, maintains that license, and must be available to cover different routes periodically as needed 1 Year Transit / Paratransit driving experience preferred; Previous Transit / Para-transit supervision experience is a plus High School Diploma or GED; Technical Degree preferred. 5-7 years' experience dispatching. Excellent verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills. Problem solving and analytical skills. Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason. Must be available to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, and / or looking at a computer screen. Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors. Strong ability to write clear and precise reports, which includes emails, explanation of service interruptions and daily events, meet daily reporting and safety requirements.
