Overview : Cyber Defense Technologies (CDT) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Security Engineer I to join our team in Denver, Colorado. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, testing and implement our secure operating systems, networks, and security monitoring and tuning to ensure the protection of sensitive data and mitigate cybersecurity risks.

Clearance Requirements : An active Secret clearance is required. Candidates who do not meet this requirement will not be considered.

Responsibilities :

• Design and implement security measures to safeguard systems, networks, and infrastructure against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Managing IT security systems and applications, incident response, digital forensics, loss prevention, and eDiscovery actions.
• Conduct risk and vulnerabilities assessment.
• Develop and implement security controls.
• Administer, maintain, implement upgrades, and ensure the readiness of several classified virtual enterprise systems and corresponding technologies (VMware, Cisco, Palo Alto, Windows Domain).
• Perform appropriate continuous monitoring and systems security testing using tools such as ACAS / Nessus.
• Research, evaluate and recommend new security tools and techniques.
