Summary
Provides public safety and security to team members, visitors and patients. Perform general safety & security duties including patrol and detection services, assisting customers, response and intervention responsibilities, provide monitoring services to assure team member, patient and visitor safety, completes communication and documentation tools, conducts weapons screening in appropriate manner, and completes other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Required Education : HS Graduate or Equivalent GED
Required Credentials : Driver's License - State of Florida (upon hire); International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) Certification is needed within 1 year, 5-year renewal is NOT required; Security D License within 90 days.
Required Experience : 3 years of relevant experience in Security.
Key Skills and Other Requirements
- Life Safety and Weapons Screening techniques.
- Team members must complete De?Escalation training within 2 months of hire or transfer into job, with Annual recertification is required .
