Security Officer - School Patrol

What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the location.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior spaces and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to students, staff, and visitors.

Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits as directed by site requirements.

Communicate professionally with students, staff, visitors, and / or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements :

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
