- Manage and maintain security infrastructure, including CCTV systems, alarm systems, access control systems, and other physical security measures.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits of all educational facilities to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services to develop joint security measures and protocols.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of policies and procedures related to building security, including visitor management, key control, and after-hours access.
- Train and supervise security personnel, ensuring they are adequately prepared to handle daily security operations and any potential security incidents.
- Collaborate with the district's administration to ensure that security measures align with educational goals and legal requirements.
- Manage the security budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and procurement of necessary security equipment and services.

- Stay informed of the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices in educational security.
- Utilizes resources appropriately to complete work in the most efficient manner; proactively communicates the status of work; participates and contributes fully as a team member; and exercises sound judgment and decision-making skills to resolve sensitive matters.
- Maintains confidential and sensitive information.
