Security Officer - Sergeant
Position Summary :
To ensure the safety and security of Suburban Hospital staff, patients and visitors through adherence to department policies, procedures and directories, effectively executing duties and responsibilities, maintaining and utilizing successful interpersonal and customer service skills.
Educational Requirements :
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience / Requirements :
- Previous hospital security experience of 2 years required.
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record / history with no more than 2 points.
- May have to work other shifts as necessary. 30-day notice prior to any shift change.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Shift :
Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Evening Shift
Weekend work required
Non-Exempt

Salary Range : Minimum 26.65 per hour - Maximum 43.97 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
