Mid-Level Physical Security Specialist
This position requires an active Top Secret clearance.
Active SCI clearance is preferred.
Mid-Level Physical Security Specialist will ensure proper procedures for SCIF, GSA Vaults and secure containers in accordance with government regulations at Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) in Washington, DC.
Compensation & Benefits :
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Mid-Level Physical Security Specialist : $80,000 - $90,000
Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Mid-Level Physical Security Specialist Responsibilities Include :
- Provide support for all Physical Security requirements, access to facilities or information and other operational requirements;
- Perform security services in Physical and Information Security, apply incident management, problem solving, task management and producing finished documentation; e.g., reports, special studies, policy and procedure development, security designs, training programs and assessments;
- Verify visitor clearance information for access into the SCIF.
- Maintain applicable SCI directives, regulations, manuals, SOPS, and guidelines
- Manage SCI personnel according to IIA and ODNI directives.
- Conduct SCI security briefings, indoctrinations, and debriefings
- Investigate SCI infractions / violations, making recommendations and preparing required reports
- Produce and review emergency plans for the SCIF.
- Utilize SIMS (Management Information Systems) for federal and contracting employees.
- Track and maintain all PERSEC information to include clearance status, security training records, personnel information files (PIVs) and visit certification (VAR) within SIMS (Management Information Systems).
- Prepare letters of intent to deny or revoke individuals of special access programs.
- Control access to the cleared facility through oversight of physical security systems including : badging, access control (Lenel) CCTV and alarms.
- Support the Industrial Security Department in all areas of personnel and information security. Assist in ensuring proper personnel security procedures are followed in accordance with the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), intelligence community directives, corporate policies, and government regulations and directives.
- Maintaining a roster oversee / direct locks and keys and safe programs X10 Mosler, changing and reset safe combinations when required and maintaining GSA approved vault activity records.
- PIV Credentialing / HSPD-12 support : Registrar, Activator, Printing Performs other job-related duties as assigned
