Senior Construction Accountant
LHH Professional Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Construction Accountant for our client here in the Houston area. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of construction accounting principles, job costing, and advanced Excel skills. This is a great opportunity to step into a role within an organization that will provide stability, growth and a great culture.
Responsibilities of the Senior Construction Accountant include :
- Perform general ledger journal entries daily and for month-end close
- Provide detailed financial analysis of construction projects and tracking of costs
- Review expenses to ensure proper allocation
- Coordinate with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist with the preparation of budgets related to projects
- Any other related matters or ad-hoc projects as requested
