Job descriptionManage and maintain accurate general ledger balances, including month-end close and journal entries Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements Perform timely and accurate monthly closing, and prepare reporting packages for HQ in China Handle Accounts Receivable tasks, including adjustments to unique invoices based on customer contracts Prepare various account reconciliations and analyses to ensure accuracy and compliance Assist in revenue forecasting and managing delivery schedules Utilize Excel for financial data analysis, including formulas, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables Learn and use SAP for managing financial processes (training provided) Coordinate and respond to financial requests from the Group in China Support tax filings and audits, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager Medical insurance with option for 100% employee premium coverage Dental and Vision insurance 2 weeks PTO 401k with match Paid parking Company wide events Full kitchen with snacks Supportive work atmosphere Growth opportunities
A leading EV manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join their team in Pasadena, CA! You will be primarily responsible for managing general ledger tasks, preparing accurate and timely financial statements, and supporting the monthly closing process to ensure compliance in all financial reporting processes for the organization. The ideal candidate has 3-6 years of accounting experience and is fluent in Mandarin, which will be beneficial for collaborating with the team in China and other entities, though it's not required for the role.

Salary Range : $70,000 - $95,000 / year DOE
Senior Accountant Responsibilities Requirements :
- 3-6+ years of accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Proficiency in Excel (formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience in manufacturing is preferred
- CPA certification is preferred
- Background in public accounting is preferred
- Experience with large enterprise ERP systems (SAP training available) is preferred
- Fluency in Mandarin is needed
