The Senior Grants Management Analyst provides specialized administrative and accounting work for the purpose of supporting City-wide grant activities, including those grants and activities within the Hallandale Beach Community Redevelopment Area (HBCRA). Performs a range of routine to complex accounting, financial, compliance and administrative functions in support of programs and projects funded by grants and / or special revenue and represents the Grants Manager as needed. The Senior Grants Management Analyst reports to the Grants Manager who reviews work, as needed, for conformity with established administrative and departmental policies and procedures and achievement of performance objectives.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Public or Business Administration, or related field; at least five (5) years of general accounting experience or equivalent experience managing grants or contracts; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training and / or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. This includes processing complex financial transactions, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, recordkeeping, and preparation of monthly, quarterly and / or annual reporting. Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements), or obtain within one year of employment. In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions in order to perform this job successfully.
