Summary :
Following established procedures and under the direction of the CFO, performs detailed finance assignments requiring advanced knowledge of finance theory and accounting principles. Main responsibilities include financial reporting, investment reporting, ALCO reporting, Interest Rate Risk analysis, CECL analysis and report, budgeting / forecasting, cost center budget variance report, peer group analysis, and branch / product profitability analysis. Procedure documentation will also be required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develops standardized and customized financial reporting for dissemination to Credit Union management and the Board of Directors.
- Coordinates vital organizational projects such as ALM analysis, CECL reporting and analysis, investment reporting, liquidity monitoring, loan participation analysis, ALCO and Board reporting, peer group analysis, and profitability analysis.
- Assists the CFO in day-to-day cash management, liquidity analysis, planning, and reporting.
- Prepares and files the NCUA Call Report 5300 quarterly. Streamlines and improves the data collection and reporting process.
- Assists the CFO, leading the preparation of the Credit Union's annual budget process. Coordinates and communicates with management to provide assumptions, information, and feedback. Develops and maintains the cost center budget consolidation model. Designs and generates monthly cost center budget variance reporting.
- Documents of investment sale / purchase activity and annual reviews of investments. Performs due diligence on approved investment brokers and financial analysis on FHLB and Corporate Credit Union. Ensures investment broker / brokerage files are complete and accurate.
- Conducts and initiates financial studies, projects, and surveys to collect, analyze, and summarize financial information and impact. Provides specialized technical analysis for assessing present and future financial performance.
- Conducts thorough due diligence on approved vendors annually. Reviews of financial health and credit ratings.
- Participates in audits and exams, working with request lists and addressing questions and comments.
- Stays informed on Credit Union products, services, procedures, new developments, and knowledge of the competition and their products. Works inter-departmentally to accomplish credit union goals, gather and analyze data, and streamline processes.
- Demonstrates proficiency and ability of core competencies as required of the position. Actively pursue opportunities to expand skills and expertise through training, seminars, and networking. Support Credit Union goals and objectives and actively participate in training sessions and special promotions.
- Assists the CFO in training other staff members in Finance, Accounting, and Electronic Services to enhance their Excel skills.

QUALIFICATIONS : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education / Experience : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred. Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting roles, with at least five years in a senior position. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership. Financial Industry experience preferred.
Language Ability : Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of members or employees of the organization.
Math Ability : Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability : Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills : Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel. Knowledge of Symitar preferred.
Certificates and Licenses : No certifications are needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities : Light supervision includes training staff analyst and reviewing their work.

Salary Range - $93,000 - 103,000 per year
