We are seeking a Director of Marketing to build, lead, and scale a best-in-class marketing function for Guarantee Electrical. This is a rare opportunity to shape how a respected legacy brand evolves for the next generation while playing a central role in growth, reputation, and culture.

Position Purpose
The Director of Marketing is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing an enterprise marketing strategy that supports growth, strengthens brand reputation, enhances the partner experience, and enables consistent execution across regions and business units.
Aligned with Guarantee's long-range vision and values, this role integrates strategy, storytelling, systems, and people to create clarity, consistency, and impact across all external and internal communications.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Develop and execute an enterprise marketing strategy aligned with our vision, growth priorities, and market positioning
- Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, business unit leaders, and preconstruction teams
- Translate business goals into clear marketing priorities, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes
Leadership and Team Development
- Build, lead, and mentor a high performing marketing team
- Establish clear roles, expectations, workflows, and career paths
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement
- Coach seller-doers and technical partners on messaging, storytelling, and client engagement
Brand, Storytelling, and Creative Direction
- Own and steward the Guarantee Electrical brand across all regions, markets, and platforms
- Set creative direction and storytelling standards that differentiate the company in the marketplace
- Ensure consistent, high-quality execution across proposals, presentations, digital assets, social media, paid media, and experiential touchpoints
- Champion authentic storytelling that highlights people, projects, culture, safety, and innovation
Internal Communications and Culture
- Lead internal communications in partnership with the People Team to support transparency, alignment, and engagement
- Support enterprise initiatives such as Partner Month, ESOP communications, safety milestones, and strategic announcements
- Ensure internal messaging reinforces culture, values, and the partner experience
Talent and Trade Partner Communications
- Partner with People and Workforce teams on recruiting, employer brand, and trade partner campaigns
- Develop targeted messaging and campaigns that support workforce growth and retention
- Ensure the brand resonates with both professional and craft audiences
Marketing Operations and Governance
- Build scalable marketing operations including planning cadence, project management, and quality control
- Own the marketing budget, vendor partnerships, and contract management
- Establish policies, templates, and standards that enable efficiency while protecting brand integrity
- Leverage tools, content libraries, and marketing systems to improve speed, alignment, and insight
Digital, Public Relations, and External Presence
- Lead website strategy, search optimization, content development, and performance analytics
- Oversee social media, public relations, thought leadership, awards, and earned media
- Ensure a strong, credible, and differentiated presence in priority markets
- Partner with external agencies and consultants to extend capabilities as needed
Business Development and Project Pursuit Support
- Partner closely with Business Development, Preconstruction, and Operations on pursuits and key accounts
- Elevate proposal strategy, messaging, visuals, and interview preparation for high value and strategic pursuits
- Support pursuit decisions through market insight, positioning, and differentiation
- Develop client focused materials that support capture planning, relationship development, and sustained growth

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field required
- Ten or more years of progressive marketing experience with at least five years in senior or director level leadership
- Experience leading marketing for organizations with multiple offices and growth oriented strategies
- AEC industry experience strongly preferred
