Summary of Position :
The Junior Business Development Associate (Jr. BDA) will assist Senior PA and BDO in loan production activities in order to facilitate production as well as provide time for BDO to concentrate on marketing activities. In addition, provide support to Senior PAs and Sales as needed and assist with day-to-day loan processing responsibilities.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Direct support of the Senior Production Analyst in loan processing and completing packages for loan submission.
- Assist Senior PA with loan file review and organization.
- Coordinate with the Senior Production Analyst on appraisal and environmental report process including all commercial real estate, residential real estate, business valuation, machinery & equipment and phase I reports.
- Assist Senior PA in receiving third party checklist from sales and credit team members and ensure all information is accurately entered in order to obtain proper bids for requested reports
- Engage and review all due-diligence reports on loan files (UCC searches, real estate title searches, credit reports, background checks, tax transcripts, etc.)
- Assist in entering report information into LenderAIs third party report tab with completion dates for such reports.
- Ensure LenderAI is updated in real time if report completion dates are revised.
- Upon receipt of completed reports, responsible for uploading reports into LenderAI.
- Pay all vendor fees / invoices submitted by third party vendor for all loans generated though the NJ Operating Center
- Cross train with other team members to serve as additional assistance including reviewing loan transactions, processing withdrawals and refunds, ordering transcripts and coordination of collateral files.
- Additional duties as requested by Senior PA and Sales.
