Work Arrangement : Hybrid What You'll Do : 3 - 5 years' purchasing or materials experience in addition to a strong background in customer interface roles and a basic understanding of price analysis methodologies. Communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English and Spanish. Develop sources of supply which support specific categories by contacting suppliers, securing bids, and selecting / negotiating pricing with approved vendors. Research suppliers to determine process, timing, reliability and level of quality. Identify and expedite purchase orders in response to material requirements typically established by internal customers and operational requirements. Analyze supplier data and price proposals to confirm acceptable pricing and reliability of supplies. Determine and develop appropriate sources of supply and maintain cooperative working relationships with vendors to stay current with trends and technologies, products and services. Negotiate contracts for product fulfillment processing. Maintain data information, files, reports and records in accordance with established guidelines, policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities : Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, both internal and external of the organization. Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously. Ability to perform accurately in a detail-oriented environment. Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills. Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop, evaluate and implement solutions. Qualifications Education & Credentials : Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or a related field; or a combination of post-high school and equal experience may be substituted for education.
