We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer with expertise in procurement, logistics, and vendor management within the food production or packaging industry. This role is essential for maintaining efficient supply chain operations, optimizing costs, and ensuring consistent product quality.

What You Will Do :

• Oversee purchasing activities for herbs, spices, and other ingredients, negotiating contracts to ensure quality and cost-efficiency.
• Regularly review inventory levels and implement strategies to align with production schedules while avoiding overstock or shortages.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and logistics partners, ensuring reliable supply chain operations.
• Resolve quality issues with incoming and outgoing products, collaborating with internal teams and suppliers.
• Analyze cost and performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement actionable solutions.
• Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) system and BRC Food Safety Certification, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
• Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and potential supply chain challenges to inform strategic sourcing decisions.
• Work closely with production, quality assurance, and other departments to align purchasing with organizational goals.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, vendor agreements, and inventory levels, preparing reports to support decision-making.
