Description & Requirements
Join Maximus as an Acting Senior Reporting Analyst! We are looking for an experienced professional with over 5 years of expertise in performance and compliance reporting. In this critical role, you will take charge of the collection, analysis, and distribution of reports, ensuring data accuracy while providing key insights to decision-makers within the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the management of reports based on data collected by Maximus and its vendors, providing crucial insights regarding performance and compliance.
- Generate and troubleshoot daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual operational reports on an aggressive schedule.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of reports and distribution lists.
- Research and document essential reporting requirements, understanding business processes and contractual deliverables.
- Assist in the design, implementation, and quality control of reporting processes.
- Utilize data mining techniques to investigate issues, conduct ad hoc analysis, and perform quality checks on reports.
- Analyze findings in the context of business conditions and contractual obligations.
- Provide concise written summaries of analyses to key decision-makers including assessments of trends and significant events.
- Understand various databases, systems, policies, and business processes to facilitate effective data gathering and reporting.
- Monitor changes to assess their impact on data gathering and analysis.
- Collaborate on quality-related tasks such as audits, benchmarking, and performance standards.
- Clearly define reporting needs with end-users and software development teams to set benchmarks and design measurement tools.
- Communicate effectively to ensure clarity in measurement tools and reports across different workgroups.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and custodian for project-wide data, participating in data maintenance and consolidation activities.
- Deliver management with data analysis in various formats for trending, forecasting, and decision support, which may involve presentations in both formal and informal settings.
- Provide technical guidance to project staff regarding data tracking and reporting accuracy.
- Develop standard processes for reporting and data analysis, ensuring quality control across all project reporting needs.
- Coordinating the workflow to ensure timely submission of required reports within contractual or internal deadlines.
- Identify and solve complex data challenges proactively, ensuring sound business decisions are made.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
