About You :
We are looking for capable and talented database administrators who are passionate about technology to work on FlexTrade's OEMS platform, FlexONE, which is our state-of-the-art, fully integrated Order Management System and Execution Management System.
You will be responsible for maintaining the MySQL database infrastructure running on RedHat Linux. Responsibilities will include (but not limited to) :
- Database backup and recovery
- Performance monitoring and tuning
- Query plan review
- Assist in security audits
- Help to perform major and minor version upgrades
- Collaborate with developers on issues and new development
- 7 - 10 years of MySQL database administration experience
- Comfortable working in Linux RedHat or CentOS environment
- Experience in monitoring production environments for availability and performance
- Experienced in troubleshooting issues and determining root causes
- Experience writing and maintaining Python and Bash scripts a plus
- Must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation
