Overview

Epstein is seeking a Civil Site Senior Design Engineer for the design and plan production of greenfield or brownfield site improvement projects including commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use located throughout the country. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, proactive and will have experience specific to private development. This position requires candidates to design innovative and technically sound solutions in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 5 years of successful project experience within a consulting engineering firm
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, including 3D surface and pipe design modeling
• Awareness of other disciplines and the interrelationship of the various elements of design
• Strong analytical skills; knowledge of analysis methods
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of design standards, plan production procedures, and specifications is preferred
• Knowledge of hydrology and hydraulic design is preferred, including familiarity with sewer pipe and detention basin design using PondPack and / or Hydroflow. Having knowledge of 1D and 2D modelling in HEC-RAS, XP-SWMM, and ICM is a plus.

Individual compensation is determined by several factors, including relevant education, experience and training, qualifications, skill sets, licensure / certifications and location. Employees are also eligible for discretionary annual bonuses based on both company and individual performance. The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000 annually.
