Job descriptionMinimum 4 years of Design Drafting background for Equipment / Machinery Experience with 3D CAD, Inventor preferred.
Steadily Growing, family orientated Machinery Manufacturing Operation in South Seattle (georgetown area) with a 100+ year old history of providing innovative & Sophisticated Custom Marine Deck Equipment seeks a Mechanical Design Drafter to join its team. Qualified candidates should be skilled in 3D CAD (Inventor preferred) along with having least 3 years of Equipment / Machinery design / drafting experience. Excellent benefits. Small
10 person Engineering Team with great tenure (average tenure over 10 years!) and team chemistry.
SUMMARY :
Develop detailed designs for complex rotating equipment / custom marine deck equipment.
- Provide details on component descriptions.
- Resolve design problems.
- Review and analyze specifications.
- Compute mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for components or machinery.
- Prepare detailed drawings of mechanical equipment, components, and systems.
- Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and other drafters to ensure accuracy of drawings.
- Revise existing drawings as necessary.
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create drawings.
