Overview

The Marketing and Communications (MarComms) team at Joby Aviation is looking for a Senior Designer to elevate our visual identity and bring our groundbreaking products and ideas to life. As a key member of the team that drives brand expression across visual identity, social media, communications, and events, you’ll help shape how the world perceives Joby. Your designs will have a direct impact on creating a beloved global brand, and your work will be seen by millions across the world as we build this revolutionary form of transport.

We’re seeking a versatile visual designer with expertise in at least one specialized area—whether motion graphics, 3D design, or illustration. Reporting to the Creative Director, you’ll collaborate across teams to translate complex ideas and advanced technologies into impactful, cohesive designs and experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute a broad range of visual assets that strengthen Joby’s brand across all marketing and communication channels
• Develop and maintain scalable design systems that ensure consistency across various workstreams
• Create engaging, high-quality assets for product launches, campaigns, communications, presentations, and event collateral
• Translate complex ideas into clear, compelling creative briefs
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate diverse perspectives into unified, cohesive brand experiences
• Assist in art directing agencies on various projects

Desired

Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $121,000 - $162,000 / year. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
