Responsibilities

Responsible for copy and content editing for all public-facing documents published by the Florida Institute for Child Welfare.

Provides specialized editorial duties related to translating research and technical findings as well as social media content creation.

Contributes to the creation and development of writing projects from conception through final draft and publishing.

This position will edit research writing, curriculum content, and social media / marketing content. This position will collaborate with Communication Team members and other staff at the Institute.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in English, Writing, Communications of other relevant field, and two years of experience or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note : or a combination of post high school education and six years of experience.)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in technical writing and / or document formatting.

Professional experience copy or content editing.

Familiarity with editing research writing.

Knowledge about writing for social media or marketing.

Understanding of cognitive load.

Anticipated Salary Range

The anticipated salary range for this position is $52,000 to $58,000, commensurate with education and experience.
