Portfolio Financial & Strategic Planning Analyst

Carlsbad, CA (Onsite - 5 Days per Week)

Pay Range : $63.54 - $74.49 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic, data-driven Portfolio Financial & Strategic Planning Analyst to support cross-functional project and R&D initiatives throughout the full project lifecycle. This highly collaborative role partners with Project Management, Finance, and functional leaders to develop budgets, resource plans, forecasts, and long-term portfolio strategies.

This is an onsite position in Carlsbad, CA (5 days per week).

What You'll Do

• Partner with Project Managers and functional leaders to build and manage project and portfolio budgets
• Support Annual Planning, Quarterly Forecasting, and long-range (5-Year) strategic planning
• Analyze portfolio financial performance including forecasting, variance analysis, and actuals tracking
• Develop headcount reporting and resource allocation models
• Use data and analytics to support strategic portfolio decisions
• Identify financial, capacity, or budget risks and collaborate on resolution strategies
• Develop and improve portfolio management processes, metrics, and best practices
• Create executive-level presentations and financial models for senior leadership
• Contribute to the implementation of portfolio and financial management systems
• Support additional strategic business initiatives as needed

Required Qualifications

OR

Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience

Budgeting and forecasting
