Job Summary :
Join us in shaping the future of aviation! Objective Area Solutions (OAS) is seeking an experienced Senior Business Financial Management Analyst to enhance our team. Our Ideal candidate will be proficient in government accounting, FAA projects toolset, reimbursable agreements, and G-invoicing. This position requires a CGFM (Certified Government Financial Manager) certification and will be based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
This role supports the Federal Aviation Administration, which is responsible for ensuring the safety of 45,000 flights and 3 million passengers traversing over 28 million miles of U.S. controlled airspace every day. In addition to providing air traffic control and safety oversight for civilian aviation, the FAA also works in lockstep with the Department of Defense and other government agencies to ensure the security of our nation. A key component of that coordination involves the collaborative use of aviation tools and data.
Key Responsibilities :
A successful candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of experience and be proficient in :
- Develop, maintain, and provide supporting documentation and documented approvals from program office and customers, including identify projects for close-out and process close-out projects in the FAA Projects Toolset.
- Provide ongoing communication and correspondence to validate expenditures from Delphi, Tableau and Smartsheet and facilitate timely billing and collection against funding documents. Prepare and provide balance sheets and other accounting documentation as needed to support communications with customers.
- Conduct financial analyses based on available data and collaborate with customers to assist with reconciling and validating reimbursable agreement data during monitoring, accounting, and close-out phase of projects to include initiating Delphi reports and using reports to analyze data and trends
- Participate in external Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and develop and deliver briefings and provide meeting minutes / action items following each PMRs.
- Update and provide Regional Information System (REGIS) cuffing against Operations (Ops) funding.
- Provide updates for the capitalization of fixed assets generated as part of projects and monitor / report throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Provide financial support for various program areas with day-to-day actions to include performing budget tracking, US Bank reconciliation, E2 review, and purchase request (PR) development in PRISM.
