Position Purpose
:The Financial Analyst is a reliable and contributing role on the FP&A team.
The four key areas of the Analyst role include:
- Budgeting, Reporting, and Cost Control
- Financial Modeling, Forecasting, and analysis supporting strategic decision making
- Investor Relations Program and other dealings with external stakeholders
- Treasury Functions

Budgeting, Reporting, and Cost Control. Assist with the preparation of the annual budget by managing a multitude of inputs across the company. Track, analyze, and report on the financial performance of the Company. Conduct variance analyses against the budget and other outlooks. Through periodic department reviews and ad hoc initiativives investigate and propose potential cost control measures.

Financial Modeling, Forecasting, and analysis supporting strategic decision making. Develop and maintain reliable planning and forecasting tools to inform strategic and tactical decisions. Analysis will support include but are not limited to dividend levels, external capital requirements, regulatory strategies, and investment decisions.

Investor Relations Program Track analyst reports, prepare background information and prepare investor presentations. Support the development of presentations and documents required for the issuance of securities and maintaining credit ratings. Perform benchmarking and market performance analyses to monitor investor preferences.

Treasury Functions Supports and contributes to treasury functions ranging from daily cash management, supporting the issuance of securites when needed, and ensuring and monitoring compliance with covenant requirements.

Ad Hoc projects and assignments that may include supporting regulatory filings, industry research, and software implementations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in finance, accounting, economics, business or equivalent work experience.
- Financial Analyst: 1-4 years of work experience.
- Financial Analyst II: 3-5 years of work experience.
- Senior Financial Analyst: 5-7 years of relevant professional experience (Graduate degree or advanced professional certification preferred)
- Strong analytical skills.
- Highly organized, flexible and able to utilize time efficiently.
