Job Title : Senior Financial Analyst
Reports To : Director of Finance
SUMMARY
As Senior Financial Analyst you will be hands on with fiscal operations in our social enterprises. We are seeking an analytical, mission driven, team-oriented financial analyst who will develop financial metrics and analysis to provide financial insights to leadership and business managers for our food, merchandise, and other upcoming verticals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for month-end close process by producing relevant journal entries, reviewing and investigating anomalies, performing P&L variance analysis and preparing month-end accruals
- Develop key financial metrics, scorecards, and dashboards for each social enterprise
- Partner with business teams to enhance visibility into business operations, improve reporting, and evaluate opportunities for efficiencies
- Provide monthly financial reports and insights to management through advanced analysis
- Maximize the utility of each business's POS system and its reporting capabilities
- Identify spend patterns, historical norms, competitive benchmarks, and create reforecasts to management based on in-dept knowledge of the analytics
- Maintain overall accuracy and integrity of the general ledger, and ensure financial statements are in compliance with US GAAP and organization policies
- Assist in the preparation and review of operating budgets and forecasts
- Develop and maintain financial models in Excel as requested
- Participate in cross training of other roles and responsibilities across the accounting team
- Develop ad-hoc reports and analysis for cross-functional teams and management as requested
QUALIFICATIONS

Compensation
80,000-$120,000
Salary to be negotiated depending on qualifications and depth of experience. This is a full-time exempt position offering a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, life and retirement account. This position also includes generous paid time off package covering sick, vacation, and 16 paid holidays.

This position is primarily desk-based, employees are regularly required to sit for extended periods, frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, occasionally required to stand, walk, and lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds, such as file folders or office supplies. Visual acuity is necessary for reading detailed invoices.
