Senior Accountant

Job Description

The Senior Accountant supports the organization's financial integrity through monthly close activities, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role ensures the accuracy of journal entries, supervises accounts payable and receivable processes, and prepares documentation for audits. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and a background in full-cycle accounting.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries in accordance with the close schedule
• Reconcile key accounts including accounts receivable, accounts payable, prepaids, payroll, and intercompany balances
• Maintain and update month-end accrual schedules and post entries as needed
• Supervise the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Ensure adherence to approval workflows and internal controls
• Communicate with customers and vendors to resolve outstanding issues or discrepancies
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Prepare PBC (Prepared by Client) audit schedules and support external audit requests
• Assist with ad hoc accounting projects and reporting tasks as assigned.
