Job descriptionUnderstand the client and company's business objectives to ensure maximization and satisfaction of client accounts Serve as the strategic business partner responsible for revenue growth for complex clients and partners within assigned regions Partner with operations and portfolio service teams to achieve growth and operational KPI's for portfolio clients in assigned regions Create and maintain report for property owners and Avenue5 leadership Lead all aspects of the client relationship including communications, planning, education, and problem resolution Provide subject matter expertise to clients to ensure product utilization is optimal Document quality issues and build and execute corrective action plan. Ensure the completion of corrective action responses to prevent issue reoccurrence. Understand the market landscape including pricing trends, competitor strengths and weaknesses, and client requirements within assigned regions Maintain an expert level knowledge and understanding of all Avenue5 products and services Review financials and recommend changes to increase profit potential for all properties and portfolio clients Lead special projects to support client development within assigned regions Collaborate on all RFP and RFI responses as related to assigned portfolio in conjunction with sales and client services Perform other duties as assigned Bachelor's degree is preferred Real estate license as required by state or local law Five or more years of experience in multi-family property management is required Five or more years of direct management experience is required Five or more years of experience in managing, expanding, and developing relationships with clients is required CPM certification is preferred Participation in industry groups is preferred Five or more years of experience in Yardi Voyager or other equivalent system is required Understanding of HUD and / or loan assistance process is preferred Strong understanding of property management industry trends, issues, and emerging technology Track record of accomplishments and high-impact results Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and time management skills to facilitate the timely completion of projects with differing deadlines Ability to read and understand financial statements Ability to create a climate in which associates want to do their best by leading and communicating a shared vision with associates and providing coaching and development Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to others Excellent written and verbal communication skills Required to complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing and Preventing Discrimination and Harassment training and other courses if assigned Required to maintain a regular schedule which may also require working outside of regular schedule, weekends, and non-traditional holidays Ability to travel including overnight (up to 50%) Exposure to environment typically found in an office building Avenue5 will make reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Summary of Responsibilities
The senior manager works with the vice president of portfolio services to provide strategic direction for existing complex portfolio clients within assigned regions and partners to maximize client satisfaction. This role is responsible for growing assigned properties within the portfolio by leveraging the Avenue5 tools and technology to maximize performance results. This role ensures that each property within their portfolio is consistently and accurately utilizing the tools and maintaining the high-quality standards set.
